Evaluation Of
Survey
·
I constructed a
quantitative questionnaire, made around 20copies total and handed half to my
class and the other half to random students I found around the college
·
The results of this
survey are to me unsatisfactory.
·
This is simply
because these results are neither valid nor reliable.
·
This is due to:
Ø The small sample number
Ø Sample members are young adults who were at the time
playing around so may have not answered seriously. Hence affecting the
relevance of the information.
Ø Some of the questions themselves were invalid.
If I did this again I might
·
Reword the
questionnaire to make it easier to understand and prior to sending it out test
it out on close friends and/or family members.
·
Self-presentation- The
best one would professional, so people are more likely to take this seriously
·
Check appearance and
general ‘air’ of target(s) before approaching as well as the state of their
environment—the best one would be a professional environment
·
Change methodology
perhaps to qualitative or use both
·
Give survey directly
to people who might be interested (e.g. outside cinemas)(Target Audience)
·
Explain purpose of
questionnaire (context)
·
Be clear in your
questions(clarity)
